Sitting here in my old church sanctuary...

My mom is praying for a few ladies. Young adults I do believe. Just reflecting on this service, while listening to their joyful tears and words of encouragement to one another.

Tonight was different than others. Putting a side old friends coming up and speaking with me. Sitting in my not favorite up close second row, with my parents. Worship was beautifully engaging; the message was sincere, passionate and convicting. Let me make this clear, worship & the message are always great. Tonight just was set apart from other evenings and mornings at church.

Half way through worship I felt overwhelmed. The crazy thing - I have no idea what about. But I was almost in tears for the rest of worship and service. Taking it in. Being open to hear the Holy Spirit speak to me. Nothing leaped out and was a huge "This is what God said to me" type situation. But God was there. He moved in me. I'm just unsure how. But I was touched. He changed me.He is preparing me. That's the thing, a shift is about to take place in my life. He took off the coverings off my eyes that had me blind to it. Wether it's good or bad is still unknown to me. But I must prepare for the unknown as I know and trust the all knowing Creator.

Its human instinct to be nervous and scared. I can tell I want to be, but I'm not.

Am I excited? Not yet. Im not sure what this "surprise" will be. But I'll be seeking Jesus, holding his hand, depending on him for his knowledge and wisdom.

I'm just left in deep thought. Peaceful confusion. And multiple worship songs running in my head leading me to worshipping well after church.

So if you happen upon this post, please keep me in your prayers. I'm not sure what journey my Lord is taking me on next. I'm at peace but pray I stay at peace and faithful to whatever God is Calling me to. Pray for strength, courage, and wisdom. I'm greatly appreciate it.
